Urbeliner und Allrounder V.Raeter - u. A. aktiv als DJ, Produzent, Designer, Illustrator und Fotograf - veröffentlichte zuletzt sein erstes Soloprojekt „Alltimers“ (2020) und feiert mit knapp 10 Millionen Streams einen beachtlichen Erfolg, an den er nun mit seinem zweiten Beat und instrumental Album „Sunday On A Monday“ anschließt - diesmal veröffentlicht im Hause Kabul Fire Records, Heimat für alle Liebhaber von Hiphop instrumental Sounds, die keine Kompromisse bei der Qualität machen. Als solches reiht sich das fast ausschließlich auf Samples basierte Album von V.Raeter in diese Tradition ein: Nix mit Trend hinterher laufen – „Sunday On A Monday“ ist genauso gemeint, wie von V.Raeter programmiert: ein ehrlicher Mittelfinger an den Wochenzyklus – musikalisch repräsentiert durch das Feature mit Kabul Fire Records Labelchef Farhot auf „Fuck You“. Sonst eher melancholisch anmutend, zeichnet die Platte staubige Klangbilder erster Frühlingstage post Lockdown - als die Zeit noch still stand und Montage tatsächlich zu zweiten Sonntage wurden und Tagtrinken eine neu anerkannte Norm. Mit wem V.Raeter auf ein letztes Straßenbier an diesen Sonntagen unterwegs war, zeigt „Honey“ – ein Kollabo-Track und vielleicht auch Lovesong mit Dexter – Hiphop-Produzent und V.Raeters Langzeitpartner im Musik- Game.
